چکیده
The ever-increasing investment gap for deteriorating infrastructure has necessitated the development of more effective asset management (AM) strategies. However, information asymmetry among AM stakeholder silos been recognized as a key challenge in implementing connectivity within system introduces systemic risks (possibility dependence-induced cascade failure) to entire operation when occurs. This study describes toolbox enable stakeholders assess such through network analytics approach. network, representing system, is examined its centrality measures identify most critical subject areas system. These are subsequently paired with assets’ performance indicators (KPIs). Within developed toolbox, descriptive provide transferrable KPI insights between reduce asymmetry. In parallel, predictive forecast KPIs, ensuring awareness future allow appropriate preparation. Subsequently, prescriptive employ heuristic-based optimization optimal configuration network. five tools presented follows: (1) dependence identification and modeling; (2) analysis; (3) area KPI; (4) KPI-based analytics; (5) configuration. utility demonstrated Tools 1–3 using real KPIs associated power transmission outages. Based on analyses, managerial drawn illustrate usefulness approach improving mitigating risks.

Groups of enterprises guarantee each other and form complex guarantee networks when they try to obtain loans from banks. Such secured loan can enhance the solvency and promote the rapid growth in the economic upturn period. However, potential systemic risk may happen within the risk binding community. We develop a structural model for the analysis of systemic risk in financial markets based on asset price contagion. Specifically, we describe a mechanism of contagion where exogenous random shocks to individual agents in an economy force portfolio rebalancing and endogenously impact asset prices. This, in turn, creates a chain reaction as downstream agents trade in reaction to price changes. I...

IAM methods partially differ from those applicable to managing other types of assets. One of the reasons is the fact that such infrastructures have indefinite lives, in order to satisfy the permanent needs of a specific public service.
